REVIEW: Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Intense Moisturizing Treatment (Review)

This winter has been especially dry.  Now, combine that with my obsession with blasting the heat at home and my constant heat styling.  It's no surprise that my hair is like a scarecrow's.

Seeing how I cannot let go of my Josie Maran argan oil (my review), I couldn't pass up on this $5 USD argan oil treatment at Walmart.  I'm also a big fan of the Organix brand.

Scent:
Light floral

Consistency:
Lotion-like

How you're supposed to use it:
Apply it from roots to ends.  Leave it in for 3-5 minutes.  Put on a shower cap and wrap a hot wet towel over it. Rinse with cool water.

How I use it:
After I shampoo and rinse (I wash my hair daily), then I will massage this into my hair from roots to ends.  I tie up my hair into a topknot (with the treatment still in my hair) and carry on with the rest of my shower gel/soap/shaving/etc., which would take more than 5 minutes anyway.  All of the shower steam works just as a hot towel over a shower cap.  Just before I step out of the shower, I comb through my hair with a wide comb and rinse out the treatment.  No matter how hot my showers are, I always do the final rinse of my hair with cool water.

Verdict:
It restores my hair great.  Perhaps, even better than my all-natural DIY hair mask... though, with chemicals...
I use this about every one and a half weeks, and it keeps my hair super smooth, static-free, and shiny.

  1. I use this once a week. I shampoo and condition my hair before. Then the same. I leave it in my hair and go about the rest of my bathing and rinse my hair last ^^ you may check out my review here:
